Editorial Policy: How We Create Content
Last updated: October 17, 2026
Our standard
Every article on CozyCrochetHQ must genuinely help an absolute beginner. If a draft doesn’t teach something clearly, it doesn’t get published.
Research and testing
- Techniques are tested by hand before we write about them. If we recommend a fix for curling edges, we’ve tried it.
- Facts, measurements, and product details are checked against authoritative sources (yarn manufacturers, standards bodies) and linked where useful.
- Tutorials are photographed step by step; what you see is what we did.
How we use AI tools
We may use AI tools to help outline or draft articles — but every AI-assisted draft is reviewed, edited, fact-checked, and finished by a human before publication. AI never publishes to this site on its own. Any AI-generated illustration is labeled as such; photos showing hands-on crochet work are always real photos of real work.
Sources
We cite sources for facts and never invent statistics, studies, quotes, or testimonials. If we haven’t verified something, we say so.
Corrections
Found an error? Email Tammy@cozycrochethq.com. We correct mistakes promptly and note significant corrections on the article itself.
Independence
Our recommendations are our own. Affiliate relationships never change what we recommend — see our Disclaimer.
